This project, conducted for the Interfaces class in my Master's course in Interaction Design, aimed to explore and learn about multimodal interfaces by developing a wearable sensor and mobile app to reduce gym-related injuries. The objective was to experiment with different interaction methods—visual and audio feedback—to provide athletes with real-time posture correction during workouts. Tests revealed that combining visual and audio feedback was more effective than visual cues alone in helping users improve their posture and prevent injuries.
Case study about multimodal interfaces that could help reduce gym-related injuries.
