The app interface combines a dark blue and purple gradient inspired by the night sky with a central, glowing timer sphere, evoking the mystique of a fortune-teller’s crystal ball. Key elements include a timer that counts down each life-swap session, along with visually prominent “Choose Life” buttons that draw focus during pivotal scenes. Other UI components were designed to heighten the viewer’s experience of Appy as both enticing and dangerous: terms and conditions scroll endlessly to hint at hidden risks, while intentional error screens foreshadow the app’s unreliability. Additionally, I designed a tablet-based back office system, revealing personal user data and app statistics, which play a crucial role in the show’s plot twist. This project integrated cinematic visuals and interactive elements to bring the storyline’s suspense and intrigue to life.
For the TV series Erro 404, I developed the UI and a few motion graphics for Appy, a fictional app allowing users to swap lives for a set time. Working within the visual identity crafted by André Sentieiro, my role was to create a high-impact, easy-to-read interface that would stand out clearly on screen while adding a futuristic, mystic feel aligned with the show’s dark narrative.
